Everyone dreams of getting a promotion or increasing their income. However, most people only take a passive approach of just working hard, staying loyal, doing only as they are told and hoping that one day, their salaries will automatically increase. When the disappointment creeps in, they lose hold of their dreams and end up dejected – without having learnt the tools to manage their disappointment and bounce back to success. You know that it has NOTHING to do with age, qualifications, experience or seniority (not any more!). In the new economy, you must PROACTIVELY take action to decide how much income you want and develop a STRATEGY to create it. Your ability to achieve ANYTHING in life depends on your ability to influence people to your way of thinking! You have to know how to think smart when you want to create wealth. There are plenty of books out there that will teach you this but one thing I want to point out is the knowledge of knowing how to invest on yourself to become wealthier. This is the only way how your wealth can sustain and grow.

Is college and financial success possible?
What degree would better my financial success?
First, I would like to know if I could get into Arizona State University with my grades. Freshman year I had a 2.7 and same with sophomore year. I'm currently in my junior year and I have a 3.6 with one AP course. I plan on receiving around a 3.6 senior year with one AP course, will I be accepted? Second, what degree would be the most promising? My friends and I were discussing the importance of money and the value of happiness, and we agreed that a comfortable, high class living is more important. I'm interested in business, biology, or law, what would be best? I understand that money shouldn't dictate my happiness, but I come from a high middle class family, and I would love to continue living that way.
Does going to an Ivy League university or top 10 guarantee financial success in life?
I hear of how kids who finish from Harvard and Princeton make 100k right out of college. I hear about how the most successful people almost always graduate from the best universities. So lets say you have a kid who is smart, didn't grow up in the best environment but he picked it up and realized his potential maybe a bit too late in high school, if he goes to a regular college tier 2, tier 3 or tier 4 and does outstanding, can he compete with the kids at the Ivies?
